John Gillette, CPA, MBABusiness Therapist
John Gillette, CPA, MBA, is a Business Therapist with Thaney & Associates, CPAs, a firm that has been in existence for 50 years, with offices in New York and Florida. Mr. Gillette specializes in tax and management-advisory services for closely held and publicly traded corporations, as well as partnerships and limited liability companies. He has a heavy concentration of clients in the manufacturing industry, construction, wholesale distribution, and large retail businesses. He also advises company owners and executives on compensation and individual tax planning issues.
John has practiced in public accounting since 1973 as partner and an executive committee member for more than 20 years, founding his own firm Datiz, Rice and Gillette, LLC which later merged with Rotenberg & Co., LLP where he has worked for the last 17 years. John received a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a MBA from the Simon Graduate School of Business, University of Rochester. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tax Division.
